DYNAMICS-8: An Eight Dimension Personality Framework for Computational Behavioural Simulation

We present DYNAMICS-8, an eight dimension continuous personality framework designed for computational behavioural simulation. DYNAMICS-8 retains six dimensions grounded in thirty years of validated personality science (the Big Five and HEXACO models) and introduces two purpose built dimensions: Acuity (digital fluency and platform nativeness and Impulsivity (delay discounting and reward sensitivity). We validate the framework against a published dataset of 1,000 synthetic personas (500 UK, 500 US). Ten pre specified statistical tests confirm all hypotheses at Bonferroni corrected alpha, with effect sizes ranging from d=0.21 to d=5.32. The framework specification (CC BY 4.0), reference implementations in Python and Go (BSL 1.1), and the validation dataset (CC BY-NC 4.0) are publicly available.
