Celebrating 25 Years of Coding Compliance Education

Throughout the 25 years of AAP Pediatric Coding Newsletter™ publication, articles have rarely discussed coding without mentioning compliance (ie, what elements of documentation are required to support code selection). These articles can contribute to the education component of the health care compliance program required for all physicians and other qualified health care professionals (QHPs) who participate in government-funded health programs (eg, participating providers in Medicaid or the Children’s Health Insurance Program) and recommended for all others.
