STUDY ON EFFECT OF ECCENTRIC BEARING CROSS-SECTION OF BEARING STRENGTH OF SOIL-CEMENT
In this study, model experiments on soil-cement piles were conducted. The results confirmed that the bearing strength of soil-cement in a single pile with no eccentricity of the bearing cross-section is slightly lower than that of concrete. In addition, the bearing strength of a double pile with an eccentric bearing cross-section is affected by the eccentricity and the horizontal displacement restraint at the center of the connected soil-cement, but it is possible to evaluate the bearing strength of a single pile with no eccentricity multiplied by the number of piles.
