Elements and Key Points for Compliance Programs for Small Entities

As discussed in the article, “Compliance Corner: Who Needs a Health Care Compliance Program?” elsewhere in this issue, even solo and small practices should develop and maintain a compliance program. This article includes a list of suggestions on how small practices can implement a compliance program based on a 7-element compliance program recommended by the US Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (HHS-OIG) for general use.
