Psalm 83 "The Way of the Open Heart"
Psalm 83, “God and the Fire” explores existence through the image of fire, in which God, the world, and humanity are bound together in one dynamic process. The human being appears as wood that burns in pain, with the risk of collapsing into ash, yet also the possibility of rising, becoming light, and dwelling in God for all times. The divine is portrayed as the flame that moves through everything, ignites, tests, and transforms. The Holy Spirit is described as the innermost fire and the sustaining force of motion, while Christ represents embodiment in flesh. The psalm emphasizes balance, openness, and the absence of absolute fixity at the core of reality, presenting God not as rigid, but as living flame.
