Experience of phagotherapy of nosocomial maxillary sinusitis
The article presents a clinical case of successful phagotherapy of nosocomial purulent maxillary sinusitis caused by hospital multi-resistant Klebsiella pneumonia strain. The clinical efficacy and microbiological sanitation of the maxillary sinus in addition to polyvalent pyobacteriophage therapy with resistance of the above-mentioned pathogen to the prescribed antibacterial therapy was a feature of observation.
