PHILIA v20–v21: Digital Protein and the Emergence of Will — Experience-Driven Deformation and Structural Will in a Four-Layer Cognitive Dynamical System

Description This paper presents PHILIA v20–v21, a two-stage experimental series introducing Digital Protein (Ωᵢ) as a persistent internal deformation variable in a recursively self-organizing multi-agent system. Building on PHILIA v19c (DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.19229075), which established coexistence of homeostasis, individuality, and will under a fully internal Zeta oscillator, this work achieves the first confirmed simultaneous survival of all four conditions — homeostasis (SR ≥ 0.3), structural individuality (S Std > 0.001), agent will (Goal Std > 0.001), and trajectory-level experience (divergence > 0) — under real-world stochastic input (CERN dielectron + ATLAS Higgs ML datasets). v20 establishes that Ωᵢ generates history-dependent trajectory divergence (div = 0.5831) but collapses Goal diversity, demonstrating that experience and will are architecturally separable. v21c resolves this through structural asymmetry (1−Sᵢ) combined with Ω-to-Goal coupling, achieving SR = 0.3429, S Std = 0.7217, Goal Std = 0.0645, divergence = 0.6037 on real data. A key finding is that divergence increases from synthetic to real input (0.5831 → 0.6037), confirming that stochastic environmental noise amplifies internal deformation rather than suppressing it. Abstract
