BLOCKCHAIN BASED DECENTRALIZED STORAGE DESIGN FOR DATA CONFIDENCE OVER CLOUD NATIVE EDGE INFRASTRUCTURE

The rapid growth of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies and decentralized applications has increased the demand for secure, scalable, and efficient data storage solutions. Traditional centralized storage models are often affected by limitations such as single points of failure, restricted scalability, and potential security breaches, reducing user confidence in stored data. To address these issues, this work proposes a blockchain-based decentralized storage platform that integrates cloud-native orchestration principles within a Django and Ganache environment to enhance data confidence and reliability. The proposed system utilizes Django as the backend framework for user authentication, file management, and communication with a locally deployed blockchain network using Ganache. Through a web-based interface, users can register, authenticate, upload, and retrieve files. Each uploaded file is processed using cryptographic hashing, and its associated metadata — including file hash and uploader details — is securely recorded on the blockchain, ensuring immutability and authenticity. During file retrieval, integrity verification is performed by comparing file hashes with blockchain records to confirm data reliability.
