Wireless, Battery‐Free, Optoelectronic, Multi‐Modal Sensor Integrated With Colorimetric Dressing for Diabetic Ulcer Management (Adv. Funct. Mater. 25/2026)

Advanced Wound Dressing In their Research Article (10.1002/adfm.202532167), Jun-Ho Jeong, Wei Gao, Inkyu Park, and co-workers introduce a multi-modal sensor integrated with colorimetric wound dressing for diabetic ulcer mangement. This new wound dressing leverages a green LED and a red LED-based optoelectronic sensor alongside pH and glucose colorimetric sensing capabilities embedded in an electrospun dressing for precise diabetic ulcer state diagnosis. This will serve as an intuitive diagnostic strategy for disease management in the daily lives of many patients suffering from diabetic wounds and diabetic diseases.
