RETAILERS PERCEPTION AND SATISFACTION TOWARDS FLEXIBLE PACKAGING IN FMCG PRODUCTS

Flexible packaging has become a widely used packaging format in the FMCG sector due to its lightweight nature, cost efficiency, and convenience. Retailers play an important role in product distribution and influence consumer purchase decisions. This study examines retailers’ perception and satisfaction towards flexible packaging. The research analyzes awareness levels, functional advantages, environmental concerns, and purchase influence. Data were collected from 100 respondents using a structured questionnaire. The findings show that flexible packaging is preferred because it is easy to handle, requires less storage space, and improves shelf display. However, environmental concerns regarding plastic packaging are also highlighted. The study concludes that flexible packaging remains important in the FMCG industry while sustainable alternatives should be encouraged.
