Correction for Liaño-Pons et al., Combined targeting of PRDX6 and GSTP1 as a potential differentiation strategy for neuroblastoma treatment

The authors note that, after publication, they discovered limitations to the assay assessing neuronal activity included in this article. The authors explain that:"During the revisions, we added an experiment to assess neuronal activity (Figs. 5 E -F , 7H, and SI Appendix, Fig. S9G and Movies S5-S7) as a useful complement to our study. We used the Incucyte SX5 from Sartorius, and their module for neuronal activity, which we initially understood to be suitable for detecting activity-related calcium bursts in our system. After continued use of the assay and further discussion with the manufacturer, we learned that the calcium reporter used in this module is not fully specific to neuronal firing. While the cells show calcium-dependent fluorescence detectable by the software, these signals cannot be reliably interpreted as neuronal bursting.Considering this limitation, we believe the approach was not technically adequate for our system. While we detected calcium signals, they cannot be attributed to neuronal firing, and the technique was not sensitive enough to measure neuronal activity in cancer cells."The authors have removed the references to the neuronal activity data corresponding to this assay from the article, which includes updating Figs. 5 E -F , 7H , and SI Appendix, Fig. S9G; removing
