SMARTBABY MONITORING SYSTEM USING IOT

The Baby Care Monitoring System is an IoT-based project designed to assist parents and caregivers in continuously monitoring a baby’s health and comfort. The system integrates multiple sensors to detect key environmental and physical conditions around the baby. A DHT11 sensor measures the ambient temperature and humidity, helping identify discomfort or fever conditions. A moisture sensor (or urine detection sensor) monitors the baby’s diaper status and alerts when it becomes wet, ensuring timely diaper changes to maintain hygiene. Additionally, a sound sensor detects the baby’s crying or unusual noises, triggering an immediate buzzer alert to notify caregivers. All sensor data are processed by a microcontroller (such as Node MCU ) and transmitted to an IoT platform (like Blynk, or Firebase) for real-time remote monitoring via a mobile app or web dashboard. This enables parents to receive instant notifications about temperature fluctuations, crying detection, or diaper wetness even when they are away. The proposed system enhances baby safety, comfort, and parental awareness through intelligent, automated, and IoT-enabled monitoring, making it an effective and affordable solution for modern childcare.
