Extensibility in .NET: when granularity disintegration strengthens evolutionary architectures

The article analyzes, in the .NET context, how decomposition into smaller units can enhance extensibility when supported by stable contracts, predictable composition, telemetry, and governance. It concludes that fine granularity is only advantageous when its coordination, security, and tracking costs are controlled with explicit standards.

Abstract

The article analyzes, in the .NET context, how decomposition into smaller units can enhance extensibility when supported by stable contracts, predictable composition, telemetry, and governance. It concludes that fine granularity is only advantageous when its coordination, security, and tracking costs are controlled with explicit standards.
