Clinical characteristics, treatment options, and prognosis of subcutaneous panniculitis-like T-cell lymphoma from the SEER database
The Ann Arbor staging was not suitable for SPTCL. Radiotherapy represents an appropriate therapeutic option for patients with single or localized skin lesions. No statistically significant differences in prognosis were observed between patients who received no chemotherapy or radiation and those who received either chemotherapy alone or radiochemotherapy. This finding suggests that immunomodulatory agents may be preferable to cytotoxic therapy as initial treatment for SPTCL, an inflammatory lymphoma.
