A multicorridor strategy including the infralabyrinthine route for extensive skull base chondrosarcoma: illustrative case.
In cases of SBCs with broad, multidirectional extension, integrating multiple anatomically tailored surgical corridors with a simultaneous anterior-posterior approach can achieve maximal exposure while maintaining safety. In particular, the infralabyrinthine corridor was valuable for providing secure access to the jugular foramen and deep petroclival regions, serving as a crucial link between the combined approaches. https://thejns.org/doi/10.3171/CASE2618.
