Cognitive Admissibility Flow: A Practical One-Page Guide Using the PFL-X Symbolic Language

This document presents a minimal, practical guide for recognising and stabilising cognitive pressure using the Pressure-Flow Language Extension (PFL-X) within the Paton System. Designed as a direct-use interface rather than a theoretical paper, the guide introduces a compact symbolic representation of cognitive flow, allowing individuals to identify overload conditions, anticipate collapse, and apply simple corrective actions. Cognitive states are represented as flows of input, evaluation, and output under constraint. Overload is expressed as high-density evaluation (>>O<<), which, if uncorrected, leads to collapse (X). A minimal intervention mechanism is provided through the hinge operator (/), enabling small directional shifts that restore admissible continuation. Fallback (~>) represents reduction of pressure and return to stable conditions. The framework does not introduce new ontology and does not replace clinical or psychological models. It operates as a pre-theoretical structural layer for recognising pressure and maintaining stability in real time. The guide is domain-neutral, accessible without technical background, and intended for immediate practical use.
