Innovation´s Change Management Challenges

Innovation is the process through which organizations adopt new ideas, processes, or products to enhance their performance. n a context marked by globalization and rapid technological evolution, companies are increasingly compelled to embrace innovation and adapt to emerging technologies to become more competitive and sustainable. While innovation brings abundant benefits, it also presents significant barriers related to organizational change. This study presents a structured literature review aimed at identifying the main challenges and strategic approaches associated with change and project management in the implementation of innovation systems. By synthesizing recent scholarly contributions, gaps are highlighted and a conceptual framework to guide future empirical research is proposed. This study outlines a research design protocol, which the researchers will use for an upcoming case study on SISQUAL, a company that has developed and implemented an innovative human resources management system. The anticipated findings are expected to support organizations and change agents in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness on change and project management practices by implementing innovation systems.
