Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation-Related Aortic Dissection Attributed to the Edwards Delivery System Pusher: A Case Report
Objective: Transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) is an established treatment for severe aortic stenosis. While its safety profile has improved, rare but potentially life-threatening complications persist, such as Stanford type A aortic dissection, which typically occurs during balloon dilatation, valve deployment, or stent-edge injury. However, aortic injuries caused by delivery system pusher components have rarely been reported.
