Ferrocene-functionalized dithiocarbamate complexes bearing thiophene arms: synthesis, crystal structure, electrochemical characterization, <i>in silico</i> interaction profiling, and apoptosis induction in HeLa cells
A new ferrocene DTCs complex shows a single quasi-reversible electrochemical response. The Zn II –L2 complex displays strong antiproliferative effects on HeLa cells, forming apoptotic bodies after 20 h, with relevant photophysical and structural data.
