Subdural and epidural hematoma following lumbar puncture in patients on anticoagulants or antiplatelets: A retrospective propensity score-matched registry study
The data analyses suggest that there are no increased risks of epidural and subdural hematoma in patients with a history of use of antiplatelet or anticoagulant compared to those who do not. These results could be further validated by a single or multi-institutional retrospective cohort study with additional parameters that characterize the patient population.
