Addressing mental health with daily-life ecological momentary interventions (ALERT) in people at increased risk for mental disorders: A micro-randomized trial

This study provides support for the beneficial proximal effects of EMIs based on gratitude and savoring. Acceptance-based EMIs may be particularly helpful for improving positive affect and in moments of higher distress. Future research should further investigate the benefits of EMIs in critical moments to advance evidence-based just-in-time support.

Abstract

This study provides support for the beneficial proximal effects of EMIs based on gratitude and savoring. Acceptance-based EMIs may be particularly helpful for improving positive affect and in moments of higher distress. Future research should further investigate the benefits of EMIs in critical moments to advance evidence-based just-in-time support.
