Remote Controlled Multi - Purpose Agriculture Machine
The Remote-Controlled Multipurpose Agricultural Machine is a semi-automated robotic system developed to assist small-scale farmers in performing essential agricultural operations such as ploughing, seed sowing, spraying, and grass cutting. The system is designed using an Arduino UNO microcontroller integrated with a Bluetooth communication module to enable remote operation. Mobility is achieved using four DC motors coupled with wheels, allowing bidirectional movement across the field. A motor-driven funnel mechanism is incorporated for uniform seed sowing, while a ploughing attachment is mechanically adjustable using a screw-based arrangement to ensure proper soil penetration. A relay module is employed to control auxiliary devices such as spraying and irrigation mechanisms. The entire system is powered by a 12V rechargeable battery, ensuring portability and field usability. Experimental validation demonstrated that the machine effectively performs multiple farming tasks with reduced manual effort and operational cost. Compared to conventional farming practices, the proposed system offers improved efficiency, reduced labor dependency, and cost-effectiveness. The use of simple mechanical components and locally available materials further contributes to its low fabrication cost, making it a practical solution for small and marginal farmers.
