The study was conceptually informed by the dynamic relationship between sustainability education and climate change activism. This was a basic interpretive qualitative study. A total of 17 informal adult learners who are concurrently climate change activists in Germany were purposefully interviewed for this study. The findings report and discuss on the participant profiles, the experiences of informal adult learners in Germany regarding sustainability education, as well as their beliefs and perspectives about actions to address climate change.
