Nonlinear Origin of Mode-Dependent Screening and Coherence in the Scalar Temporal Field Ontology

We analyze the nonlinear dynamics of the scalar temporal field in the Scalar Temporal Field Ontology (STFO) and demonstrate that generic kinetic self-interactions produce mode-dependent behavior. High-gradient modes are suppressed in regions of strong temporal compression, while low-gradient modes remain coherent over large scales. This work establishes the nonlinear origin of screening and ordering phenomena within STFO. The analysis is local and effective, providing the conceptual and dynamical foundation for subsequent linear-response and nonlocal Yukawa-kernel formulations of screening.
