k-Foam Theory: Genesis - A Speculative Cosmology
[k-Foam Theory: Genesis - A Speculative Cosmology] "Non-existence once was. Existence negated it. What keeps running from it is the current 0 < P < 1." This supplementary working paper explores the origin and evolution of the universe through the lens of k-Foam Theory. Rather than assuming an explosion of mysterious energy, this paper attempts to geometrically reinterpret the Big Bang, inflation, and the formation of the universe as a series of "emergency defense protocols" to avoid complete non-existence (P=0), which is mathematically forbidden by the underlying axioms of the spatial grid. ■ Key Speculative Reinterpretations:- The Big Bang & Inflation: Reinterpreted not as a mysterious field, but as a system-level emergency response triggered when the grid probabilistically touched the forbidden state of P=0. The system scattered nodes superluminally (before the light-speed limit of the k=6 grid was established) to negate the void.- Quark Confinement as a Survival Strategy: Surfaces (k=3) that survived the initial extinction storm could not withstand the 3D void alone. They survived by bonding in threes (quarks) to disguise their topology as stable k=6 vacuum space (hadrons).- Hybrid Cosmology (Hubble Tension & Dark Energy): The observed redshift may be a hybrid of actual spatial addition (structural tension) and "Topological Propagation Loss" (packet loss as light traverses the grid). This offers a geometric alternative to the runaway dark energy hypothesis and explains the Hubble tension as a difference in measurement targets. This paper is entirely speculative and unverified. Proof is not the goal. Existing physics and mathematics are not rejected; only their underlying assumptions are reinterpreted. The universe exists because non-existence is self-contradictory. Everything else is a consequence. Related main paper: k-Foam Theory v13 (DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.19094744)
