The QCIs in Madrid
The deployment of the Madrid quantum network, as part of the MADQuantumCM and EuroQCI-Spain projects, has materialised several quantum communication infrastructures (QCI). This was manifested by the need for inter-domain interoperability both at the infrastructure level, with different approaches, and at the cryptographic key management level (KMS), with standardised solutions based on specifications such as ETSI GS QKD 020. Their focus on specific-purpose scenarios is particularly relevant.
