Enhancing Agricultural Sustainability Development of an Automated Solar-Powered Purification and Irrigation Station Utilizing Offline AI Algorithms for Real-Time Soil Telemetry and Resource Optimization
Water scarcity, inefficient energy use, limited technological adoption in agriculture, and pervasive water pollution represent interconnected crises threatening global food security and public health. This paper presents the design, construction, and experimental validation of the Aqua Volt Plant: a fully integrated, closed-loop smart agricultural system. The system synergizes a five-stage physical–chemical water purification unit — incorporating gravel, sand, activated carbon, cotton, and anion-exchange resin — with an AI-controlled drip irrigation controller, all powered by an off-grid photovoltaic subsystem. Embedded offline AI generates contextual recommendations without internet connectivity. Seven-day experiments confirm 85.4% turbidity reduction (75.2 → 11 NTU), 42.9% TDS reduction (1503 → 858 ppm), 50.7% irrigation water savings, and an Energy Autonomy Ratio of 10.6×, collectively validating the system as a scalable precision agriculture solution for resource-constrained environments.
