<p> Introduction: Breast cancer has caused the majority of deaths among women over the past 20 years. Paclitaxel, a member of the taxane family of anticancer drugs, has a distinct mode of action and substantial clinical efficacy and is used widely in the management of breast cancer. This normally prevents mitotic spindle formation, halting cell division and leading to apoptosis.
