Serial vessel wall imaging reveals rupture site and treatment response in a flow-related aneurysm associated with an arteriovenous malformation: illustrative case
This case uniquely demonstrated rapid postoperative disappearance of aneurysmal wall enhancement and morphological regression on serial VWI. VWI may serve as a valuable tool not only for identifying rupture sites but also for monitoring temporal changes of AVM-associated aneurysms. https://thejns.org/doi/10.3171/CASE25951.
