Giurcan CPS-G Memetic Scanner Companion Paper: Proposed Architecture, Technical Audit, and Validation Roadmap

This technical note presents the CPS-G Memetic Scanner as a companion contribution to the broader Giurcan cognitive warfare framework. It does not claim validated detection performance or operational deployment. Its purpose is to formalize the proposed scanner architecture, critically assess the current prototype’s technical status, and define the empirical and engineering conditions required for future validation. The paper describes a layered cognitive intelligence architecture for multimodal ingestion, structured triage, explainable vector scoring, longitudinal trap analysis, and analyst-support workflows. It shows that the current HTML/CSS/JavaScript prototype should be treated as a conceptual-operational demonstrator rather than a validated analytical engine, due to synthetic logic, lack of reproducibility, missing backend controls, and absent evidentiary integrity mechanisms. Its principal contribution is infrastructural and methodological rather than evidentiary. The document establishes the scanner’s analytical boundaries, documents its present limitations without inflation, and proposes a phased validation roadmap based on annotated corpora, inter-rater coding, benchmark evaluation, explainability requirements, and secure software development controls. The record is intended as a citable companion paper preserving continuity between theoretical taxonomy, prototype development, and future empirical validation.
