400eP Trends and projections of lung cancer burden in Serbia, 1980–2035: A global burden of disease study analysis
Lung cancer remains one of the most significant healthcare concerns worldwide due to its high mortality and prevalence. Serbia has higher levels of both air pollution and smoking relative to other European countries, both of which have been strongly associated with lung cancer. A better understanding of these trends in Serbia can inform effective public health policies and preventative strategies.
