Choosing the dry mix for enteral nutrition in organization of nutritional support depending on relative nutritional value and cost

Objective. To determine the ratio of cost per relative value score for enteral nutritional support of adults with dry mixtures (DM). Material and methods. Cost of standardized daily amounts of DM (containing 45 g of protein and 1125 kcal) was calculated using appropriate information from three sources (government procurement monitoring, online pharmacy, large online marketplace) as of December 2024. DM cost was compared with results of previous multi-criteria analysis (MCA) of their relative value scores. Cost/value ratios were calculated. Results. Mean cost of DM package increased in a row as follows: Biosheik Standard (456 rubles), Nutrien Standard (1063 rubles), Nutrien Standard with dietary fiber (1120 rubles), Nutrizon Advanced Nutridrink (1191 rubles), Resource Optimum (1347 rubles), Nutrien Fort (1439 rubles), Frezubin Dry Mix (1902 rubles). The cost/value ratio turned out to be minimal for Nutrizon Advanced Nutridrink (128 rubles/point), followed by Resource Optimum (129 rubles/point) and Nutrient Standard (141 rubles/point) by a small margin. Conclusion. The best cost/value ratio characterized Nutrizon Advanced Nutridrink for enteral nutrition.
