Dark side of Quantum Computing: security threats and protective frameworks

This paper looks at the possible effects of adding quantum computing to everydaytechnology, especially the risks and weaknesses it may bring. While quantum computing ispraised for solving complex problems quickly, its widespread use could lead to serioussecurity and ethical issues. The study reveals the less favorable aspects of quantumcomputing power—the "dark side"—especially its ability to break traditional encryptionsystems that protect our global digital infrastructure.

Abstract

This paper looks at the possible effects of adding quantum computing to everydaytechnology, especially the risks and weaknesses it may bring. While quantum computing ispraised for solving complex problems quickly, its widespread use could lead to serioussecurity and ethical issues. The study reveals the less favorable aspects of quantumcomputing power—the "dark side"—especially its ability to break traditional encryptionsystems that protect our global digital infrastructure.
