Photoemission microscope tomography for polycrystalline metals
We propose a workflow to construct a generative model that provides us with angle-resolved photoemission spectra by utilizing photoemission microscopic measurements on polycrystals, instead of single crystals. Distribution of the crystal orientations enables us to reconstruct momentum dependence of the spectral weight in a tomographic fashion, without any experimental inputs on the crystal orientations of each grain. The capability of the present workflow is demonstrated with a set of micro-ARPES data from polycrystalline silver.
