Absolute Flux Density Calibration of Pulsar Data
In this presentation, I review a method for absolute flux density calibrating beam-formed pulsar data. I highlight which telescope performance parameters are needed as input and give a few examples. I then compare different sky temperature models and provide examples from my recent work on flux density calibration of uGMRT and LOFAR data. Finally, I describe my efforts to apply this calibration approach to NenuFAR pulsar data and to understand the NenuFAR telescope parameters, and conclude with several discussion points for important future NenuFAR work. The slides were presented at the "NenuFAR beam model & polarization" meeting in Paris Meudon on 2025-03-21.
