Exploring radiography students’ experiences of clinical training through the lens of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs: A qualitative study at a South African University
Clinical educators and supervisors should recognize students' fundamental needs-from physiological to self-fulfilment levels. Institutions must ensure safe, inclusive learning environments with equitable access to resources and mentorship. Embedding Maslow's framework within clinical education policies can strengthen student resilience, promote reflective practice, and ultimately enhance clinical training.
