Acute arsenic poisoning from realgar water: Case series from Guilin, China
This case series documented acute arsenic toxicity secondary to realgar consumption in both adults and children. The findings underscore the critical need for targeted public health education initiatives and enhanced regulatory oversight regarding traditional medicinal practices, particularly during cultural festivals. Furthermore, they emphasize the necessity for heightened clinical vigilance in the prompt diagnosis and management of arsenic poisoning associated with traditional cultural practices.
