454P MTAP gene expression as a novel biomarker in neuroendocrine lung neoplasms
SLFN11>1 LCNEC a worse overall survival (OS) (p=0.050) was observed. In SCLC, SLFN11 exp median value was associated with improved OS (13.9 vs 6.8 months; HR=0.48, 95%CI 0.26-0.90,p=0.020).Conclusions: SLFN11 exp in lung NENs is higher in SCLC>LCNEC>TC/AC, in line with its correlation with Ki67 and reflecting its association with proliferative stress.SLFN11 exp was mainly associated with ASCL1 exp in all lung NEN subtypes. While correlating with survival in SCLC, its role in TC/AC and LCNEC remains to be defined.
