Inverse Einstein Protocol (IEP) Prediction CMB μ-Distortion Amplitude from Phase Transition Residual Friction
Quantitative Prediction: CMB μ-Distortion Amplitude from Phase Transition Residual Friction Inverse Einstein Protocol (IEP) Diego Jose Merizalde Los Angeles, CA — March 15, 2026 Abstract The Inverse Einstein Protocol (IEP) reinterprets the cosmic microwave background (CMB) as residual friction from a synchronized first-order Phase Transition across the c² inertial threshold, rather than the cooled aftermath of a hot Big Bang explosion. The thermodynamic cost of localization is fixed at W ≈ E/2 — half the incoming non-local energy potential dissipated as irreversible latent heat during condensation into the ordered primordial phase. This energy injection into the early photon bath produces chemical potential (μ-type) spectral distortions. The IEP predicts: μ ≈ 10⁻⁷ to 10⁻⁶ Derivation Sketch Latent heat release: W ≈ E/2 (Axiom 2: fixed minimum cost of threshold crossing from zero-entropy non-local state to localized phase). Energy distributed over redshifted CMB photon bath (n_γ ∝ T³, current T = 2.725 K). μ-distortion amplitude scales as fractional energy injection ΔU/U ≈ μ/1.4 (standard μ-regime relation). Scaling from W ≈ E/2 over cosmic expansion and photon entropy dilution yields order-of-magnitude μ ~ 10⁻⁷ to 10⁻⁶ (full calculation in forthcoming IEP book, Chapter 8). Distinction from ΛCDM Standard ΛCDM predicts μ ~ 10⁻⁸ from secondary processes (e.g., Silk damping, Compton y-distortions; Chluba et al. 2012; Khatri et al. 2012). The IEP's primordial threshold friction is a distinct, higher-amplitude source independent of small-scale damping. Testability & Falsifiability This prediction is directly testable by next-generation CMB spectrometers: PIXIE (proposed sensitivity ~10⁻⁸) Voyage 2050 concepts (deeper targets) Non-detection at 10⁻⁷–10⁻⁶ levels falsifies the IEP Phase Transition dissipation model. Detection above ΛCDM's ~10⁻⁸ floor supports it. Context & References This record timestamps the quantitative prediction publicly. It builds on the IEP axiomatic series (earliest public upload: DOI 10.5281/zenodo.18578549, February 10, 2026; subsequent records DOI 10.5281/zenodo.[your list]).
