EXAMINING THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN TRAINING, EMPLOYEE ATTITUDE AND EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE WITH THE MODERATING ROLE OF MOTIVATION

The present study examines the impact of employee training and employee attitude on employeeperformance, with the moderating role of motivation in private universities located in Peshawar,Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The purpose of this study is to determine how the independent variables(employee training and employee attitude) affect the dependent variable, employee performance, and how the moderating variable, motivation, influences the relationship between the dependent andindependent variables. The data collected is quantitative and sourced from primary sources. Datawas gathered from private universities located in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and analyzedusing reliability analysis, descriptive analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis, and theANOVA model in SPSS 26. A total of 259 questionnaires were distributed to the targeteduniversities. All the hypotheses of this study were accepted. The study shows that employee trainingand attitude have a significant impact on employee performance. The independent variable, training, predicts 42 percent of the change in the dependent variable, employee performance. Employeetraining is a key factor in enhancing employee performance, as is employee attitude, which predicts35 percent of the change in employee performance. The study also shows that motivation moderatesthe relationship between the independent and dependent variables. This thesis concludes withrecommendations on how to integrate employee training and employee attitude and maintainemployee motivation to achieve higher performance.
