Network Performance Analyzer (NPA) with BI Analytics

This paper presents a lightweight Network Performance Analyzer (NPA) developed using Java and JPcap/WinPcap libraries to monitor and analyze network traffic. The system captures packets, processes relevant attributes, and exports the data into CSV format for visualization using Power BI dashboards. The proposed solution helps administrators monitor bandwidth usage, detect anomalies, and understand protocol distribution in real time. The system is designed as a cost-effective monitoring solution for educational institutions and small organizations. Future improvements include AI-based threat prediction, cloud storage integration, and IoT monitoring capabilities.
