THE TRIPARTITE STRUCTURE OF OPERATIONAL TRUTH
We present the discovery of the fundamental structure of operational truth: V = L ∧ C ∧ R, where truth requires Logic, Coherence, and Reality correspondence. L (Logic) demands both internal coherence AND comprehensibility; C (Coherence) requires self-consistency AND compatibility with established truths; R (Reality) accepts observable phenomena OR measurable effects OR traceable patterns. L and C employ conjunction (all components necessary), while R employs disjunction (any manifestation sufficient). The structure is demonstrated to be irreducible (all three components are necessary), falsifiable (three independent methods of falsification are provided), and self-correcting (automatically updates with new evidence). Validation comes from three independent sources: (1) logical proof of irreducibility, (2) empirical convergence across independent methods (mathematics across cultures, age of Earth, DNA structure), and (3) explanation of why the scientific method works universally. We derive the Trinomial—a practical tool for truth validation—directly from this structure, and demonstrate the Principle of Convergence: truths about the same phenomenon converge when investigated independently; falsehoods diverge. This framework refutes epistemic relativism and provides the first falsifiable concept of truth in epistemological history.
