Site-Selective Decarboxylative C–H Carbenoid Functionalization Enabled by Pyridotriazole-3-carboxylates
This paper describes a decarboxylative C-H carbenoid functionalization of (hetero)aryl carboxylic acids by using pyridotriazoles as the carbene precursors, which overcomes the limitation of ester group retention in conventional reactions, enabling the construction of diverse aza-tricyclic structural frameworks via a decarboxylative process. This method successfully overcomes the strong coordinative interference of L-type N-heterocycles with the metal catalyst, thereby allowing for highly site-selective C-H functionalization of (hetero)aryl acids.
