Constraints on ultraheavy dark matter from the CDEX-10 experiment at the China Jinping Underground Laboratory

We report a search for ultraheavy dark matter (UHDM) with the CDEX-10 experiment at the China Jinping Underground Laboratory. Using a Monte Carlo framework that incorporates Earth shielding effects, we simulated UHDM propagation and energy deposition in p-type point-contact germanium detectors. Abstract

Analysis of <a:math xmlns:a="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"> <a:mrow> <a:mn>205.4</a:mn> <a:mtext> </a:mtext> <a:mtext> </a:mtext> <a:mi>kg</a:mi> <a:mo>·</a:mo> <a:mi>day</a:mi> </a:mrow> </a:math> exposure in the 0.16–4.16 keVee range showed no excess above background. Our results exclude the spin-independent UHDM-nucleon scattering with two cross section scales, with the UHDM mass from <c:math xmlns:c="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"> <c:msup> <c:mn>10</c:mn> <c:mn>6</c:mn> </c:msup> </c:math> to <e:math xmlns:e="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"> <e:msup> <e:mn>10</e:mn> <e:mn>11</e:mn> </e:msup> <e:mtext> </e:mtext> <e:mtext> </e:mtext> <e:mi>GeV</e:mi> </e:math> , and provide the most stringent constraints with solid-state detectors below <g:math xmlns:g="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"> <g:msup> <g:mn>10</g:mn> <g:mn>8</g:mn> </g:msup> <g:mtext> </g:mtext> <g:mtext> </g:mtext> <g:mi>GeV</g:mi> </g:math> .
