Constructing Inter-ring Hydrogen Bonds for High-Performance Energetic Compounds
The pursuit of both high energy density and stability remains a fundamental objective in energetic material research. Construction of the resonance-assisted hydrogen bond (RAHB) has emerged as a viable strategy for stabilizing bicyclic compounds. This study successfully synthesized compound <b>5</b> by engineering an inter-ring RAHB within the bridged skeleton, which achieves a detonation velocity of 9096 m s-1 and a detonation pressure of 36.3 GPa while simultaneously exhibiting low sensitivity to mechanical stimuli (IS = 35 J and FS = 288 N), endowing it with both high energy performance and low mechanical sensitivity.
