Same-Day Total Thyroidectomy is Safe in a High-Volume Safety Net Hospital
In a socioeconomically vulnerable population, protocolized same-day total thyroidectomy was safely implemented, achieved high adoption, and substantially reduced hospital utilization without increased adverse events.
