Cover Feature: Complementary Surface Motifs Enhance NO 3 RR Performance in NiFe Alloys (ChemSusChem 5/2026)
The Cover Feature collage shows the reduction of nitrate (NO3−) to ammonium (NH4+), via several adsorbed intermediate species, on a disordered NiFe alloy surface. The reaction pathway utilizes complementary surface site types to drive catalytic performance for sustainable ammonia synthesis. More information can be found in the Research Article by L.
