The Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Weight Loss and Quality of Life One Year Post Metabolic Bariatric Surgery
During the first and second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic frequency of follow-up visits after MBS was reduced in Germany. For those who participated, the quality of life was slightly reduced while all other outcomes were comparable. Our findings contribute to a better understanding of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic - and lockdown measures in general - on short-term MBS outcomes.
