Human Architectures (AH) — Operational Trajectory Reading

Working Paper #2 in the Human Architectures (AH) series. This paper introduces Operational Trajectory Reading, a minimal structural method for monitoring continuity under load in human systems. Rather than relying on snapshot interpretation or narrative explanation, the method reads trajectory through repeated observation windows and directional change across four ordinal variables: propagation (K), latency (L), valve condition (V), and buffer margin (B). The paper distinguishes between the deep regulatory structure of AH—latency, buffers, and valves—and the operational state interface used for reading real systems under uncertainty. Within this interface, K is treated as the observable signal of loss of locality, rather than as a co-equal deep primitive. Using repeated windows (W₁ / W₂ / W₃) and directional deltas (ΔK, ΔL, ΔV, ΔB), the method produces four required outputs: regime classification, leading variable, next likely threshold, and one observable early-warning sentence. The paper also includes a compact operational card, delta-pattern guidance, and illustrative mini-cases. The approach is descriptive and non-prescriptive. It does not diagnose individuals, classify identities, infer intent, or prescribe interventions. Its purpose is to improve timing and reduce regime errors by detecting tightening trajectories before visible rupture. Version 1.2 — clarification and structural refinement update This revision preserves the original method while improving conceptual clarity, explanatory continuity, and alignment with the current AH hierarchy. It clarifies the distinction between deep regulatory structure (L/B/V) and operational interface (K/L/V/B), normalizes ordinal anchors, strengthens the interpretation/problem framing, and expands the trajectory-reading guidance, delta logic, and practical reading sections. Abstract
