Synthesis and Characterize the Supercapacitor Performance of WO 3 /rGO, WO 3 /rGO/WO 3 , and NiWO 4 /rGO/NiWO 4 Composites

ABSTRACT NiWO 4 /rGO/NiWO 4 composite was synthesized using the jet nebulized spray pyrolysis technique at optimum conditions followed by calcinating the material under nitrogen atmosphere at 450°C for 2 h. Modified Hummer's method availed to prepare graphene oxide and it placed as interlayer between the metal oxide layers. XRD analysis confirms reduction of graphene oxide and crystalline structure. Morphological studies reveal formation of nanosized metal oxide particle that was successfully anchored on surface of reduced graphene oxide. Electrochemical performance was characterized by CV and EIS techniques. NiWO 4 /rGO/NiWO 4 composite exhibits a superior specific capacitance of 224 F/g at 3 A/g current density and EIS study produced charge transfer resistance of synthesized composite (3.4 Ω). The sandwich‐structured composite provides higher active sites, enhanced electrical conductivity, and a pronounced synergistic effect, making it suitable for supercapacitor applications. It also demonstrates excellent cycling stability. These properties suggest that the NiWO 4 /rGO/NiWO 4 composite is a promising electrode material for supercapacitors with superior electrochemical performance.
